Walk to Montjuic castle, Barcelona

Montjuic castle is a must go place when you are in Barcelona, its a hill next to the coast line near the Columbus statue at end of La Rambla street. There are multiple ways of going there.

Cable car (teleferic) and Funicular.
Cable car works from the Coast line ot the mountain Miramar and then you can either take bus or walk all the way to Montjuic castle. The ticket cost 7 Euro one way and you can see a very nice view from top specially the coast line, in my opinion its not worth that money as you will finally have that panoramic view from the castle.
the Funiclar is under repair till mid 2016, which was one of the easient way to reach directly to the castle.
Bus
In place of Funicular there are two buses running all day from station Pral-lel (line 3 and line 2) and Pl.Espanya. the buses are number 150 and also another special bus for Montjuic castle runs every 10 minutes. Before jumping in ask the driver if its going the Castle direction. the T10 card is fully valid in these buses that means its not expensive to go up to the castle as compared to the cable car which cost nearly 7 Euro.
Walking
It might look far but its just 3 km from the coast line by walk and there are planty of places to explore on the way that you will not feel it till the last 300 meter of steep climb :)
Any how I recommend to go at least one way by walking, its worth walking there. it takes nearly 30 min if you go without stopping.
KEEP YOUR WATER BOTTLE ,NO SHOPS ON THE WAY
ASK PEOPLE ON WAY FOR DIRECTION IF YOU DON'T HAVE NAVIGATOR
Some photos and map that may help you,

 The Garden on the way
 Front gate of the castle
 Side view of castle
Castle top, kindly don't write on cactus plant, some couples wrote their names on almost each part od the plant
view from top

Lastly: There is discounted price if you are less than 30

La Rambla and La Bouqeria, Barcelona

La Rambla (Les Rambles) and La Bouqeria are the famous streets of Barcelona and you just cant skip these two while visiting the city.
Both the street are connected very near to the city center, PL. CATALUNYA. Metro lines L2,L3 and L4 are connected to the Pl. Cataluya but the most near to the street is line L3.

The La Rambla street is full of street vendors and street artist. You can find allot of sellers selling the on ground the fake Football shirts and I recommend not to buy as their average price after bargaining is 12 - 25 Euros and you can easily fin this price in the shops (not the original: it cot 100 Euro from the stadium). The street is a very lively place and a must go in the evening time, keep you luggage and pockets safe as its a crowded place and famous place for pickpockets too.
The street is nearly 1 km long connecting Plaça de Catalunya in the centre with the Christopher Columbus ( which is next to coast line).

Where as the La Bouqeria is a large food/fish market attached to the Ra Rambla near to Metro station Liceu. The market is just next to the restaurant Dunkin Donut. The market is famous place for both tourists and the locals, especially the fruits, vegetables, chocolates and the marine variety pulls the customers itself.

The market is clean and not smelly( as they sell fish there). Its not very expensive and good experience to meet locals and try some exotic fruits, or just have a lunch in small open stalls.
The freshness, variety, colors and artistic arrangement of products is just indescribable.

The bus has free wifi and runs every 10 minutes from terminal 1 and 2. for returning all the buses start from pl. Catalunya, the bus A1 goes to terminal 1 and A2 to terminal 2.

The other bus option is bus 46. after exit form airport on the left you can see the bus stands( hardly 100 meters) you can buy ticket from driver for 2.15 Euro or use your T10 card. The bus takes nearly 25 minute to reach the center PL. Espanya which is also connected by metro and buses.

The Renfe train station is just under the terminal 2 in Barcelona and ticket cost nearly 4Euro for 1 way and the train goes directly to the Passeig de Gracia, which is walking distance to Pl.Catalunya and also connected to Metro station.
